Wireless Professional

Wireless luminaire monitoring

With the new Wireless Professional the control and monitoring of selfcontained emergency and security lighting is a snap! To install the lights
the only thing necessary is a connection to a normal power supply with 230V AC. The subsequent installation of the wireless system for monitoring and controlling the luminaires is taking care of itself.

Each luminaire equipped with wireless professional may connect to other luminaires or the central unit on the European approved frequency of 868 MHz and report its own and the status of others
through the system registered luminaires. The indoor range sums up to at least 30m. Thanks to the radio frequency of 868 MHz even a reinforced concrete ceiling between floors is no insurmountable barrier.

The wireless system can include 250 devices (sum of all luminaires, repeater and I/O boxes connected to the system) per central unit asstandard and is expandable up to 1,000. Furthermore 5 timerfunctionsand a networked system are possible by standard. The extent of functionscan be expanded afterwards with a code within the software.

The radio system is organizing itself ad-hoc. Each Wireless Professional luminaire automatically contacts all reachable nodes: other luminaires, repeaters or the central control unit itself. By networking of severa lcentral units the 1,000 luminaire limit can be exeeded. The software for the central unit is available in several languages, allows the storage of building maps and can be installed on an existingWindows system.

The registered luminaires can be placed on the digital floor map and appear with their current status. Many of the available Wireless Professional luminaires can be switched by radio. A timetable stored in the central unit makes it possible to put the emergency lights in an unused building at the weekend in standby mode. Thus, the Wireless Professional saves energy and even the security is guaranteed at all times.

Wireless Professional lights are very inconspicuous. Even in stainless steel or aluminum cases the radio technology works without any visible antennas.
