The MC-BMSM controller is an optional application in a network. Each safety lighting system can consist of a main station and up to 32 substations. Each central unit (main station or substation) manages up to 96 circuits, of which up to 20 lights can be connected to each circuit and monitored. In cooperation with the gateway, the controller ensures that all information is read out from the connected safety lighting systems and made accessible to the outside via ModBus / IP or BACnet. The BMS controller automatically recognizes which protocol is supported / used by the connected building management system.
